The Brașov Court of Appeal eliminated the 2% limit previously applied by the cadastral authority to surface area changes in cases of merger and division of properties. Surface area changes are assessed only against the limits established by law, giving owners and transaction teams more flexibility in preparing cadastral documentation and conducting transactions.
